The Nigeria Police Force has reportedly dismissed Inspector Olaniyi Ogunsoro, the officer who was involved in the death of Tiamiyu Kazeem, a young footballer with Remo Star football club in Ogun state.
Channels TV reports that the dismissal of Ogunsoro was recommended by the assistant inspector general of police after his trial by the Ogun state police command.
The rogue police officer will soon be prosecuted after his disengagement proceedings were finalised.
Recall that the police in Ogun state on Saturday, February 22, confirmed Kazeem’s death and ordered the arrest of the officer was involved in his death.
