English Premier League side, Liverpool FC has hinted on welcoming two of its players back on training ahead of FA Cup fifth-round match against Chelsea FC on 3rd of March.
According to the report monitored by Naija News on Liverpool’s official website, Joe Gomez and James Milner have joined teammates at Melwood to train ahead of their clash with Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Naija News understands that Gomez and Milner were both missed out on the Red’s last game against Watford FC in the English Premier League on Saturday, due to injury sustained.
It could be recalled that Watford beats Liverpool to 3-0 on Saturday evening, a victory that saw Liverpool deprived of their unbeaten record run.
Speaking about the return of the defender and midfielder, Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp said at his pre-match press conference on Monday that, “No news on new injuries, I think Joe and Millie are back.
“The others, Jordan Henderson (hamstring) and Xherdan Shaqiri (calf), aren’t.”
Liverpool FC vs Chelsea FC match will start at 8:45 pm on Tuesday.
