A white man is currently the subject of discussion on Facebook after he was spotted wearing slippers at his traditional wedding in Enugu to a Nigerian lady.

A Nigerian Facebook user, Ifeanyi Abugu from Nsukka, Enugu State, who posted photos of the white man argued that the act would not have been accepted if it were to be a Nigerian man.

He wrote:

“Women will like this because na Oyibo man, but if na Igbo guy wore ordinary slippers on his traditional wedding day women go talk say him be poor guy. It happened in my community.”
