Golden Eaglets assistant coach Nduka Ugbade is confident that Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi has the potential to play for any of the world’s biggest clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, or Inter Milan.

Ndidi is regarded as one of the game’s foremost defensive midfielders and has seen his stock risen even higher after yet another fantastic campaign for the Foxes.

The 23-year-old is a constant feature for club and country and was instrumental for Leicester as Brendan Rodgers’ men finished the just concluded league season ahead of big-spenders Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool.

Several top European sides, including Barcelona and Manchester United, are reportedly interested in signing Ndidi.

And Ugbade has urged the former Nath Boys Academy product to jump at the opportunity whenever any of those top clubs make any concrete offer for his services.

“Ndidi is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, but he has a contract with Leicester,” The Punch quotes Ugbade.

“I will prefer he moves if a very good club comes with a good offer, clubs like Inter Milan, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Real Madrid.

“Should the biggest team in the world come for him, I would want him to go there and play.
