Nigeria’s Terem Moffi Strikes At Lens To Halt Mini-Goal Drought

The young striker finally found the back of the net after going seven league matches without success in front of goal


Terem Moffi scored his ninth Ligue 1 goal of the campaign for Lorient at Lens, his first goal since his brilliant brace in his side’s 2-2 draw at Monaco back in February.

Gael Kakuta broke the deadlock for the hosts from the penalty spot in the 16th minute at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

But Moffi found space in the home side’s danger area to head home the equaliser from a cute Enzo Le Fee free-kick on the half-hour mark.

However, Corentin Jean struck moments before halftime to give Lens the advantage heading into the break
