Do Recall that National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme was founded on May 22, 1973 by General Yakubu Gowon in a bid to the proper encourage and develop common ties among the youths of Nigeria and to promote national unity.

To Some, NYSC is a Scam, but to me I think I have contrary opinion.
Even Amidst all its shortcomings, I can say it’s still one of the channels keeping Nigeria in a good state of mind.
On the other hand, I have met good people and better people across 36 States of the Federation which normally I would not have met if in my Geopolitical Zone. I must say in little or more, these people have imparted me positively and I believe that’s still part of the goals of NYSC.
To colleagues and prospective Corps Members out there, permit me to encourage you not to see the negative part of the scheme but rather embrace the positive part and make use of it adequately.
‘The future is bright’ they say.
