Scheduled for October 2026, “Settings” adds another release to the catalogue of Nigerian rapper Zoro Swagbag, whose music has maintained a strong connection to Igbo culture and indigenous hip-hop.
The single follows “Big Shot”, his September release centred on success, status and cultural pride. It continues an active year for the rapper, who has also worked with Jeriq on “Nzogbu” and explored Nigeria’s social challenges through “NNA (New National Anthem)”.
Zoro’s musical identity has long been associated with Igbo-language rap, expressive phrasing and contemporary hip-hop influences. His ability to incorporate familiar cultural expressions into his songwriting has helped distinguish his work within Nigeria’s indigenous rap scene.
Having built recognition through songs including “Ogene” featuring Flavour and “Achikolo” featuring Phyno, Zoro already has an established audience for his music. This latest release gives those listeners another opportunity to engage with his evolving catalogue.
