The collaboration brings together performers with established connections to Igbo music and southeastern Nigeria’s highlife tradition. Fanzy Papaya leads the recording, while Ejima042 contributes its distinctive identity as a duo known for indigenous highlife performances.

Musically, the release belongs to the highlife tradition that has remained central to both acts’ work. Its combination of Fanzy Papaya’s Afropop background and Ejima042’s highlife experience gives the collaboration a clear stylistic direction, particularly for audiences familiar with contemporary Igbo music.

Having previously worked with prominent Nigerian performers, Fanzy Papaya has continued developing his catalogue through solo recordings and collaborations. His established audience, alongside Ejima042’s following within the highlife scene, could help the new release gain attention among listeners who appreciate indigenous Nigerian music.
