Former Celtic star Moussa Dembele remains at the top of Manchester United’s list of transfer targets, according to reports.

The Lyon striker has started the season on a hot streak, scoring six goals in seven matches.

Man U have previously been touted with a move for the Frenchman but his club in Ligue 1 were desperate to keep hold of him and managed to do so despite interest.

Now the Daily Mail claim Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still hopes to land the ex-Hoops striker and could move again in January.

Any potential deal would land Celtic a major windfall with clauses attached to Dembele’s £20million sale to Lyon in 2018.

Dembele, 23, scored 17 league goals last season despite signing after the campaign had already begun.

He also bagged three international goals last season.
